The second Movie Lounge of this year is set to take place this Friday, August 24th, with the City noting that “this free event is organized by the City of Hamilton and has proven to be very popular with families looking to enjoy the outdoors while being entertained in a beautiful park setting.”
The event venue is Queen Elizabeth Park with the first movie screening, A Wrinkle in Time, starring Oprah Winfrey in a sci-fi fantasy epic, starting at 5:30pm.
The second screening at 7:30pm will feature Avengers: Infinity War. The popular Marvel Comics franchise sees superheroes such as Black Panther, the Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Iron Man and others take to the skies and streets to battle their arch enemies.

It’s a great way to end the work week and Queen Elizabeth Park provides the ultimate outdoor theatre. We’re pleased to be able to offer current films, free to the public, and to have families come out and enjoy the park.”
“Kids are encouraged to wear their best superhero costumes as there are prizes to be won. A Wrinkle in Time is rated PG and Avengers: Infinity War is rated PG-13. In the case of inclement weather, Movie Lounge will be cancelled.”
